Our semi/private lessons are priced according to the teacher experience. Many of our teachers are experienced, native and certified. We offer lessons for families, parent and child, or a group of your friends. Lessons are customized for what's good for your family. Are you a big kid and want to learn a language? Chinese @St Mary's Central

Since China has become more and more important in politics, global business, economics,etc. around the world, Mandarin is becoming one of the fastest growing and most popular languages being taught in America today. Learning Mandarin will help the students get prepared for a possible future career in business, trade or economics, as well as help them understand Chinese history and culture, especially considering contact with the Chinese people will be much more prevalent throughout the 21st century. For the adults it will be a fun way to learn a new language in a comfortable environment, getting together with others who may share many of the same interests as you.

The classes will run 12 weeks, on Wednesday nights, from 3:15-5:15 starting on March 3, 2010. The classes will stay in line with the SMC calendar and its various breaks. The fee for the class will be $200.00 for 24 classroom hours of instruction for 12 weeks from 3:15-5:15 p.m. St Mary Central parents who take Mandarin with their children will be welcome at no additional cost but must attend all classes. Teachers or Administrators of St Mary's Central or TCESS may take the course at 1/2 price.

Spanish

SpanArt at Ferber Elementary School is an exciting learning experience that integrates learning creativity and free expressiosn while children explore different mediums while learning Spanish. Spanish and Art are great ways to experience the world of color and communication where curiousity, exploration and fun are allowed. Cost: $100 includes art canvas for final project

Location: Classes are held at Ferber School in the TAG room immediately after school until 4:30 p.m.

We Are The Next World Ambassadors

Belanno will offer an Arabic, Swahili, Hindi Summer Language/Culture Camp at Belanno's studio located in downtown Appleton from August 2-13 2010. from 8 a.m.-12:00 p.m.. Come and explore the sites and sounds of India, Africa and the Middle East. Children in grades K-5 are welcome.

Cost is $150 ($50 of which will be returned if students attend all sessions). No experience is necessary. We welcome those with experience.
